Got no idea how to activate the key to get the free items.. :/

EDIT: or do I need to install the ARC client?
Because I'm playing NW through Steam.

Shame they insist you link a Steam account.
I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

that's strange... i'd suggest to contact support,
    https://support.arcgames.com/
and see if a GM can figure out what is going on here?

thank you for the info, I got this and on the website, this is what it shows for the contents (which is what I received), still good but no companion...
"...Exclusive free content includes the Intern Starter Pack: a Ensorcelled Mulhorand Weapon, a Bag of Holding, and a Stone of Health."

Well, i'm now wondering where that companion actually came from... since i'm rather sure that it popped up together with that Intern Promo Pack, and i haven't activated any other codes recently.

I don't do steam either, but I signed up (for free) and got the promo
    1) go to Humble Bundle & sign up/log in
2)go to the Neverwinter promo page & try to accept it
    3) a pop up will tell you you need to link to a Steam account

    4)sign up at Steam

    5) go back to Humble Bundle & try again

    6) which will take you back to Steam, wher you will sign in with your Humble Bundle ID

    7) and now you can claim your Phat Lootz (trademark)

... not to mention that Humblebundle do tend to give away Steam games for free regulary too.
All you have to do is go to Humblebundle, claim the free game, and then activate the code before it expires.
