Leveling as Soulbinder ?

Leveling a Warlock here.

I understand Hellbringer is simply easier to play when leveling, while Soulbinder seems to depend too much on criticals. And at low levels I have only 20% critical. So I'm afraid to go Soulbinder and end up not having enough charges to use Soul Scorch at all. Also, when leveling I'm always leaving combat, which would constantly remove my charges.

Question is:
Has anyone tryed leveling as Soulbinder? Or its mechanics are simply bad for low leveling?

Hellbringer AoE is far more robust with Pillar of Power and Gates of Hell, and with No Pity No Mercy for automatic CA vs. all enemies on crit.

I can’t think of a good reason to level as Soulbinder; it’s a great path for single-target DPS, but leveling and daily quests are almost entirely about AoE.
