3v3 Deathmatch event?

Can we get the 3v3 deathmatch gametype, that one of the cryptic developers suggested, as an event on console?
I think that mod 15 is being released on PC not loo long from now, and I haven't seen anything about a new gametype being included in that mod. Given that console gets the updates months later, it could be ages til we see some good changes in pvp.
Class balance is still an issue with mod 14, and im not sure what plans are for the future with that (tbh i've lost hope at this point), but I think a 3v3 gametype, where people could q with friends again and work together on the same team, would make the game exciting for at least a short amount of time. And then if the event is successful, put it in a later mod.
Only concern i have is that a lot of players that q solo nowadays are very undergeared, and if i were to q with 2 of my friends, the only way that it'd be an enjoyable match (for either team) would be for them to also be a full team of decently geared players. And that was the big problem with the old domination queue. So perhaps put a q size limit of 2? That way we can still play with a friend if we want, and matches won't be as lopsided hopefully.
