Chult Daily trials quest

inugurlinugurl Member Posts: 72 Arc User
So when Borovia came out I took my favourite toons and started it. I love ravenloft and was eager to begin. That meant I stopped in chult. Now that I've finished borovia on 4 of my guys i thought it might be time to return to chult and finish there. The first thing I noticed was that it was taking me longer to complete the daily trail. I used to do 4 quests from the camp and 3-4 patrols plus the weeklies. That used to be enough in both sosenstar and omu. Now its more like 6-7 quests. The patrols don't count toward your daily percent and neither do the weeklies.
Now the weeklies count in borovia so why don't they in chult? I get why at least some of the patrols don't, the one in the city, its the weeklies that puzzle me. Was it always so?

It was bugged and giving credit for things other players were doing. Problem is that when they fixed that, the WAI version is very grindy. The one in Barovia is much better. Weeklies count towards it and the rate if gain for a quest is 20%, up from 10 in Chult.

I had a bad feeling someone would say something like that. Thanks for the reply.
Chult has become one of my least favorite zones now. I was surprised when I realized that because sharandar had held that title for a long time. Now, chult is just so grindy.

There is a way to complete Soshenstar trial faster, but whether you'll like it... up to you. Do multiple KOS HEs on Monday when people are calling them. Each seems to give 20 or more points to the daily.

The daily quest in chult was a bug. You did not need to do anything to finish the daily quest. You parked your character in the camp fire and took a coffee break for 10 minutes. Then, the quest would be done when you came back.

Yup, Chult, Omu, and Ravenloft dailies all gave credit for other players in the same instance completing things.

They fixed that though, and now all 3 are quite the grind solodolo. Per pitshade's point, KoS is a decently quick way of doing it assuming you can catch the rush of folks knocking out the weekly.

Barovia is relatively easy to get 2x a week.

Day 1, I take Campfires, Heroics and Spies. That is 60 plus what you get from the heroic, usually between 39 and 41 since mobs count at 10:1. If I turn everything in and end up at 99, runand kill deer or scarecrows or something until it ticks over.

Day 2 take 5x repeatables or 3x plus both instances which completes. That won't cap you on omens so you could start another day or do hunts. If you aren't getting the 25 from siege, that us another Vigil for 5 more repeatables.

Important thing is that m14 gives double credit for repeatables as well as giving credit for dailies.

I don't submit all the weekly quest or repeatable after they are done. I submit enough to hit 100% as precise as possible. I use the wine quest, doll quest as fillers (if needed to fill 10%), same for small HE (if needed to fill 5%), kill mob to fill less than 5%. When 100% is done, I changed to another character. Usually, the weekly quests are spread for a few days for each toon.

I've enjoyed borovia so much that i have no problem hitting weekly max in a single night. Even on my pally. who lets be honest can often be a pain to solo. You won't die, but you agro everything and you dont hit that hard. Love playing a pally in groups.
