Due to how the update cycles happen, the next RP reward should trigger it.
Example: You're at 74000 and you received 1500 in a reward bringing it to 75500. Due to how reward grants are handled in the engine, it checks the 75k mark and rewards you the 1500 simultaneously which means the 75k reward doesn't trigger.
The next time you get bonus RP, even if it is just 1, it checks vs the 75k again and it fires off the reward. This wasn't as noticeable when the RP only came from critter kills and were smaller amounts. With the change to give bigger amounts via dungeons and such, this quirk stands out a bit more.

Maybe something should be fine tuned, but this thread can be closed.
It seems that it's not measuring the right amount of points.
In fact once reached 77K I've got the reward.
I'm just wondering what will happen if you can't exceed the target
