i went out to river district today for how i haven't been out there in a while and after wanting to farm seals that i was not expecting to see a change in them so why cant they not just leave things alone and not worry about barvoia cause i have seen how broken that place is and how they could of left us 40 seals cause after seeing 10 that they could of done the primal gear from 600 to 400 while the rest was 200 or would of been just happy by that

So farm them in barovia. I've seen SHE trains there.

Its easy enough to farm them solo in Barovia. I normally can farm enough for one weapon piece in an hour in Barovia solo, and that is on a DC.

You can finish them. Just wait. The final mob group will spawn. This is a good and bad thing. If you are there, it is bad because you have to wait a few minutes. If you are trying to get there, it is a good thing because you have a few more minutes to get there.

The only one that truly seems broken at times is "The Taken". All the mobs may not spawn from the start.

That is why if I am running them solo, I will go do the Howling, and then come back to The Taken. Normally by then all the undead will have spawned. That being said. the hes in River District probably should give 20 seals instead of 10.

Easier to do HE in Barovia anyway. 6 HE instead of 3. A new one spawn more or less after one is done. No need to wait like in RD. I do HEs to finish the daily (after weekly are done).

i just think the hole nerf thing they did was lame since they did not have to do that where they could of done 35 seals in river district while given baravia 40 to the small encounters just to be fair since they didn't give us anything good out of that free barovia gear when we got rank 6s

You got r8's for doing the intro the first time.

when the new mod came out that they should of given older players r11's when newer players got r6's or we would of never got them the either way just saying

i just think they should give small encounters in river district 35 while 40 in barovia for how i know that the big ones still get 50

Why should they give 40 for SHE? People can solo four or five of them in the time it takes to organize and complete one BHE.

I have seen players with IL 7K asking for help on the start up quests. As a note to anyone planning to tackle Barovia, I recommend getting the free Vistiani gear drop the letter off and return to finish other campaigns you missed. The start up quests will eat you alive without the boons, companions, and mount insignia.

If you plan to stay, I am sure other players, including myself will help you get beyond the "Standing Stones" quest, but after that you need to save up the coins to buy the 250 salvage gear from the campaign store. There are only a few easy quests for a new level 70. Rare Vintage is finding a wine bottle and turning it in to the bartender, Blinsky Doll is gathering 3 doll head after the doll drops from something you killed, and Rituals of Corruption is gather 10 candles and kick over 5 piles of rocks. Other than that, the area is certain death for you.

Because it is connected to the zen, but what isn't? You need 300 SoB to get a ring (salvagable at 4K AD) which would be 12 encounters per 4K AD. I would probably end up with too many SoB, I almost forget to turn them in as it stands now. I also don't farm seals, but I understand those who do. Not all players can trot off to Barovia and get coins to get the salvage gear box or hunt. I also don't convert the AD to zen, if I want the zen, I would just buy it.

I guess, they (Cryptic) are trying to keep the economy in check, but I have noticed a rise the in bottleneck from 9 million to 13 million. Until the bottleneck goes away, I would expect more AD nerfs and salvage nerfs too. With Black Friday roughly 3 months away, this +4 million could be players trying to get an early jump on the zen while the delay is reasonably low. Once it gets to 20 million you will have to wait almost a month to get the zen.

They don't need nerfs. They need wanted AD sinks. Things that people need and would buy more than once. Like Preservation Wards.

Oh I agree, they need something that you want to put you AD into on a regular basis. However the last thing they tried, was that horrible RP bonus booster. I don't know if anyone here plays Champions online, but the AD (questionite) store offers a lot more variety and value, than what we currently have in the Wondrous Bazaar. It is really hard to believe the two games are made under the same roof sometimes. I plan for the best and expect the worse.

    This is it.

Big ZAX backlog = more AD nerfs and more unique AD sinks like Knox companions.

Right now it might be faster if you have a group to do Illusionist's gambit and leave after the first round. Can do that in under 5 minutes and get 20 seals and at least a salvage item worth 1k AD.

It would be faster to just solo (or in 'train') the small HE in Barovia . 20 seals, help finishing the quests, occasionally purple/blue drops. About 2 minutes each + travel time.

You only get seals for IG if you get in via RQ. Chances are, you will get some leveling dungeon that takes you 10 minutes to get to the end.

Well you might not be getting any but I get 20 seals each time I run it. And if I do it in random get the 60 plus the 20.

I haven't been farming seals since the change why I haven't been out in river district and barovia for how lame the seals was and if they could fix that and give 25 to 30 seals to all the small encounters we killed than yeah I wouldn't be disappointed in that while wanting a cache of brave over cache of ichor

Ah, you are right. Level 70s get seals. A well-geared group can knock it out in three minutes. It's better than running around to all the SHEs.
