I just got a Tarokka Card in Gnarlroot Caverns. I had no idea those things dropped anywhere but Ravenloft. It was the Druid.

    That is very interesting - anyone else got a Tarokka card elsewhere? Maybe it is a recent change?

    I got one on my pally alt while leveling. Can't remember where, but since Ravenloft isn't open to him yet.......

    Yeah they do drop occasionally in random content. Seem to drop mostly in lairs, not so much in open adventuring zones though.

    Interesting, I never gotten one myself, I hope I do get some I need all the help I can get for my stinking lousy worthless character, who dies every 5 seconds.

    I know that technically you are supposed to be able to start Ravenloft with a fresh 70, but really, it is the very last module. Even if they lowered the difficulty compared to where it could be it is still much harder than most fresh 70's might find comfortable, at least those who do not have high level toons feeding them gear, AD, and refining points. Also, some classes have it easier than others, with GWF's being generally considered the current 'easy mode'.

    Best thing for a fresh 70 to do is run the Ravenloft intro, get the gear, and then go start grinding out the boons for all the other campaigns.

    I have had a few tarokka cards drop from mobs outside of Ravenloft (or CR).
