So I broke out my HR after about a 6 month shelving to work on my TR. I have noticed something or maybe I don't understand the mechanics of HR.

HR is a DPS/Controller type but I can't seem to get combatants maneuver to proc when I control a target. My strong grasping roots from constricting arrow does not proc it. Am I missing something? I run aspect of the pack so I have CA all the time. What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The game is very fickle about what is counted as a control power for purposes of proccing Combatant's. For example, the GWF's Threatening Rush procs Combatant's, despite the ability being a gap closer and a marking at-will (the mark apparently counts as a CC effect...).

    In any case, Disruptive Shot procs Combatant's and I hear Trapper rotations incorporate Disruptive Shot at some points, so it should be no problem for you.
