What about the Ravenloft pre-patch?

Well, the counter for the new module is allready ticking down, but there's no pre-patch starting when i close the client...
I do believe in killing the messenger...
Want to know why?
Because it sends a message!

    Most probably what is currently on Preview will be what is going on Live, but there is a tiny chance that they found something serious, and will put an updated version up later today - and in that case prepatching will start tomorrow or Sunday, I guess.
    Hoping for improvements...

    I had a few problems with pre-patching in NWO and STO, were the pre-patch would just disappear on patch day and i had to download the whole patch again, which takes a lot of time here...

    Anyway, with the pre-patch not showing up, i was afraid that they had deactivated the whole pre-patching for good this time.

    Not sure but my client just disconnected and when I logged back in, it's DL a 11GB update.

    That's strange... "only" 6.9GB pre-patch here.

    Quick question. Is it possible to switch pre-patch off and if so how? I'm tired of getting it as it never works for me and I have to patch the whole thing on the day anyway. Yes I know I can just close the client that pops up after I close, it's just kinda annoying.

    I don't think there is... it would be great, if they could add something for pre-patching to the game launcher options.
    [ ] start pre-patching directly
    [ ] disable pre-patching

    If you update Preview, then Tuesday, make a copy of the Preview folder. Rename the Live folder (just to be safe) then rename the copy of Preview to be Live. You should be able to avoid all patching on Tuesday by doing this.

    The client stopped downloading the 6.9GB pre-patch in the middle of the night here, it looks like they released a new 7.6GB pre-patch less then a day before the regular update...
    Which probably means that all the pre-patching done until this point was for nothing, and i'll probably be downloading the Ravenloft module over the next few days without being able to actually play.

    Why couldn't they
    a. let us download the pre-patch sooner?
    b. leave the pre-patch as it is, and only add the new changes to a regular patch today?

    And btw. it would also help to know how far we are in downloading of the whole pre-patch...
    At the moment it only shows the download size of the current "session".
