Unsupported region

Hi all. I suddenly can't log in and I am getting a message saying I may have been banned or unsupported region. Now I have only been playing a couple weeks and wouldnt know how to cheat and havent chatted with anyonee so banned isnt it. I have also played from the same chair on the same laptop in the same room this whole time so region makes no sense. Anyone getting this out of the blue?

Not here. But what might have happened is depending on where you are in the world you might have got an IP from a country who's barred from the game - some countries are, I can't recall which I suggest Google - or you got an IP that was banned (or someone using your VPN was if you're using that). The thing about IPs that most people don't know about is that we change them constantly. Every time you switch off your router for a couple of minutes you get a new one, you can get a new one in the middle of an online session too if you're on for long enough. Essentially your session time with that IP runs out and you're randomly assigned a new one.
You were just unlucky enough that the IP you were assigned belongs to someone who cheated at some point and had that IP banned.

Suggested fix.
Switch off your router for a couple of minutes and I mean completely off. That should on its own provide you with a new IP and might solve the issue. Otherwise if the issue persist you can contact either Cryptic support and might get the IP unbanned or your internet support who can force an IP change through for you.
