Hi I started pvp a few months ago with my GWF and still practising. But it's crazy that TRs kill me so easy with piercing damage from Sod. Is there a good way to avoid it? I read that you can run away and it won't hit you but I try and it still kills me...don't get how it works..

    Nope. It's currently a bit too much in PvP, and the devs agree as they're nerfing it for PvP in M14/13b/12d/whatever's the next mod.

    3 possible ways to get out off SoD: Shadowclad proc - but you need to set your deflect just right, that you don't deflect before the 8 stacks are reached. Ambush rings - take two or three steps sideways - you have to leave the node for it, which of course still helps the TR. Daily "Avalange of Steel" will interrupt SoD as well. Our just live with it until Mod 14 hit and hope the TR in your team takes care of the other TR (TR's are TR's worst nightmare as well).
