Just a question how low is the Allosaur fang droprate?

After killing around 95 lost count so could be more not one single drop is this normal because if so then the rng obsession has just hit a new level of silliness.

    No idea of drop rate of those fangs, but let me still tell something as general about drops;

    Today I did almost 4 hours only killing Sun Bears at OMU. They spawn within few mins, lets assume delay is 5 mins. This means 12 spawns per hour. There are 6 groups, thus 72 groups killed in hour and 288 groups killed in 4 hours. Those killed groups spawned Rotted Sun Bear around 30 times. From those Rotted Sun Bears excatly ONE dropped item needed to Polaris lure. (got 10 king spines at this same time)

    So, on my case success rate for final reward was 1/300

    And then one might get extremely lucky, like I did with that one fight with Polaris, I got Fured Kiuno of the Bear, which I was looking for.

    Sometimes upgrade with 5% chance success at 1st try, sometimes you fail 30 times at 30% success rate.

    And yes, I have got TWO drops of Shard of Orcus Wand at CN after some hundreds runs.

    This is called RNG, we hate it always and only love it when it provides rewards to us.

    I know what RNG is and I agree that we like it when it rewards us however when it doesnt reward you at all then its a pointless exercise in statistics and it hasn't rewarded me in two years.

    I didn't mean to lecture you, my example calculations were just general info, since RNG and drop rate heats up time to time, so that was just one more examples to newcomers to realize, it truly is RNG.

    But I DO agree with you, some items seems just TOO hard to drop and thus we naturally would like to have some actual firures, how drop rates are done.
