There seems to be a weird lag between inviting a guild to alliance and the rest of the game catching up.
Example: - This guild is the overflow for our main guild and shares alliance time with the overflow guild for another in the alliance so we rotate in and out fairly regularly.
When we accept the invite, we don't show as in the alliance to people in the main guild unless they log out, log in a character of theirs in the secondary guild, then log back to one in the main guild. Time doesn't fix this (edit: and nor does logging the char out and logging in another in the main guild), not sure if restarting the client does.
