If you have Windows 10, you can "stream" from your Xbox to your computer and technically play on your Xbox from your computer. It's been a long time since I've done it so I don't remember the full logistics involved but you might want to look into it.

Actually, you can stream from off your network if you set it up correctly. The linked article describes the general process of setting up port forwarding from the public side of your Internet firewall/router or putting the Xbox into a "DMZ". There is also an app in the Windows 10 Store called "XOON" that is helpful in turning your Xbox on or off remotely.
