Damage Dealt stat

Hi, I pop in from tiime to time and show my naivity. Here's another example...

So, I was standing at a campfire in Omu admiring the shiny people around me and came across something that has left me pondering. There was a rogue standing next to me with 141% passive damage dealt (out of combat). Yes, he was >16K IL, but still...

I'm 15K IL and passive have around 90%, and I can't work out how I've lost out on this potential 50%.

Any ideas? (not only on how he has 140%, but on how DD works in general).

Damage dealt stat... its better not to look at it.
Its influenced by Power and afaik it calculates increase with 0 as base power. That another guy had more power than you, either his bondings buff up or a power share buff affecting him while you werent in the range of it...
