I know that there are a lot of things that are probably unreasonable to ask for in the mail system. But since we do have guild mail I would think that it wouldn't be too hard to allow an "officers' mail". I realize that different guilds set officers at different ranks, so it would have to be something that could be designated by guild rank, ie. rank 5 and above, etc. It would make so much easier for the guild leaders if they could send an "officers' mail" to their officers instead of having to copy/past to everyone of officer rank. Thanks!

Couldn't a officer/leader leave a comment in the box provided for their character and send a guild mail along the lines of "All guild officers, please check the message I posted in my member comments box - signed 'whoever'".
I realize this isn't as good as a guild officer's mail option, but I believe it can be done currently with no changes or additional coding to make something like a guild officer's mail option.
However if anyone at Cryptic is open to a little additional coding, my preference would be a officer's messages on the "NEWS" or "INFORMATION" tab on the guild page.
The guild page can be accessed by any member any time and depending on guild member's level, change or post information on the guild page.
Guild leaders could set who has permission to access and view said messages and officers could post their messages in that space which will be retained in perpetuity, newest messages with date, time and author annotations posted at top of the list with members having the ability to scroll down to see older messages.
Sort of like a mini version of this forum... permitted members are able to access, read and post while members lacking permission can neither post nor read messages from that tab, perhaps with some level permission such as lower level officers read only and higher level officers/leaders read, post, and possibly delete.
