Clam your reward in the elemental campaign!

My character (Duran Oakenshield) has completed:
1) the "Defeat Crumblechasm" and killed the dwarf.
2) When my character report in to the old dwarf (I forgot his name) flash task "Claim Your Reward in the Elemental Campaign"
3) When I open my Campaign screen, My character was 1 short of a total need.
4) Had to do the next task with "Captain Dunfield" to make total need.
5) I "Claim your reward in the Elemental Campaign" but fear that next time I be one short of a total need.
