ping pong combat gets anoying

am i the only one who after playing this game for couple hours each day I just get fed up with the ping pong combat?

i mean seriously does every single mob need to knock you back knock you prone or daze you every 2 seconds. i quit playing swtor back in the day for that very reason and later on they revamped the whole system because they realized that people don't find it fun or amusing after more then hour or two of it you just get fed up. esp when the packs are 10+ is just no way to avoid it. sometimes i feel like i am not even fighting just a walking ping pong ball.

    Yes, I do not like it either.

    Firstly, they removed most, if not all, useful control from players.

    Then they give all the useful control to their mobs and bosses. Gorillas push, thump and knock. Dinosaurs knock, prone and stun. Yuan-ti mind control and stun. Lions stun, and if they are in a pack, they chain stun with their roar. The newest zones are the worst.

    Bosses grasp with hands. Now they are using the mechanics which were once Control Wizards in the push/pull of that Trial of the Dead Fetus.

    It is pretty lame, not fun, highly annoying, and makes me curse at the developers whose idea this was, every time.

    It is due to the enemies level, the higher the enemies level the more it take to control them.

    I tried a full on Control build using artifacts, companions, boons, etc... in the new zone, to see if I could use my CW control abilities and I can. Though my damage drops significantly, therefore I forgo that build for much faster burn. I burn the enemies so fast that rarely are their control effects an issue for me.

    OMG 1000 times agreed! This is the reason why I hated The Cloaked Ascended campaing, especially HE in River Distric. Sometimes you get knocked 3 times IN A ROW without a chance of defense . With my GWF I could eventually go Unstopabble, but with my HR or OP was almost unbearable
