Please reduce casting time of Prophecy of Doom...
The time is too long, it takes too long and most of the time I think that many players do not use it because of this.

    Yeah, that's the one where I'm like - Did I cast it - did it go? Wait, am I still casting it? Oh, it's still going... Where you've got to actually watch the animation to know whether you can move on or not.

    Painfully slow.

    Scourge Warlock's Harrowstorm is rough too. I accidentally cancel more of those than I cast.

    It’s sad because PoD grants decent damage on subsequent casts in Divinity but feels like it takes forever to complete. Usually end up slamming on DG or BtS just to push the Empowered buff out faster.

    also with dg in fbi has anyone noticed how difficult it is to cast one the turtle? it almost isn't worth slotting there. I have to just use bts on the turtle pretty much or the buffs realllllly slow down. honestly pod is easier to use there than dg

    Precast your buffs, it speeds up your rotation.

    You can place Divine DG on teammates before the fight starts. Emp stacks last 15 seconds, and unless you have potato college dorm internet, it will not take 15 seconds for your teammates to load into the fight/begin. The fight starts, then you only need to drop 1 more divinity encounter to get full Emp stacks.

    You would be surprised how many people overlook the duration of Emp stacks.

    I do dDG, HG, pop DC sigil right before turtle appears, then eBtS and AA on top right at the start ...full buffs at once running my AC there for better survivability

    thats good for the first 15 seconds but trying to cast dg on the turtle once you're in there is super slow. it doesn't take. you have to search around for where to aim and even then it doesn't take half the time.

    Well, learning to aim buffs is part of the difficulty of playing DC.

    DG is nowhere as hard to aim as Exaltation or Bane. There is a macro for aiming, but it is unecessary.


    three empowered dgs for me

    Cast one Divine DG, cast 2x divine BtS or FF (depending on what you slot), follow up with your slotted Emp buff.

    It is far faster than casting 3x divine DG, and places the all important dDG buff while keeping up your speed.

    You could also take a look at (what I presume to be) Michela's rotations in this thread's videos.

    Macros don't help here, this is just learning which powers have the fastest animations to use.

    Exaltation is the most annoying DC ability to cast. I sometime hit a companion. If this ability could not be used on a companion it would be a much better encounter for DCs.

    I try to get behind the hardest hitting DPS in T9 and hit Exaltation on them that along with AA, eBtS and DG. Normally I end up using it on a GF and that GF uses Soul Sight Crystal, ITF, VM, KC and GWx3, You can see the red bars off Orcus just melt away. :)
