Characters stay/goes on guard without being attacked

Since a couple of days I have noticed that my CW goes/stays on guard without being attacked or under any enemy threat. This happens in different occasions, especially if there any enemies at some distance (about 25-50m). Also after being attacked he stays too long on guard so I cannot mount nor do any other action with the F.
This is rather annoying and I dont think it is supposed to work like this. I will give you an example: a quest in Sharandar where you have to free some ppl inside a cocoon (dont remember name of the quest). You kill the enemies first and normally you can click the cocoon right away to free the one inside. Well now you cant; you have to wait for ages to be able to click. Funny thing is that while you are punching the F trying to click, another player coming on a mount can dismount and click it without any problem.
I hope I have been of some help and this can be soon solved.

Did you get the pilgrim weapon set?

Yes. I got it from the expedition pack I recently bought. The Bonepicker and the Bonesnapper they are called. Why? do they cause those problems?

Yes, getting stuck in combat is a known bug of this set (https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1238573/pilgrim-weapon-set-bug).
