Mounts sold in zen store, but bought on AH don't update your collections?

Many items have the same display name, but different underlying logical name (or ID). They look the same to a user but are different to the computer. For example, they won't stack together. The collections operate off the logical names, but sometimes we forget to add all the variants. If you can give a specific example of an item that isn't giving collection credit, we can investigate. I doubt that it's all items sold in the Zen market but bought on the AH, but that might be true for the cases you tested. Also, we give credit when the item is gained or moved. So if you had an item already in your inventory, then we added it to the collections system, you'll have to move it to get credit.

I can confirm at least 5 specific examples not properly showing in Mount Collections.

▪ Dusk Unicorn under Magical Horses of Fearun.
▪ Amnian Horse under Mounts of the Countryside.
▪ Amphail Fancy Horse under Horses of the Nobility.
▪ Bay Zakharan Horse under Horses of the Nobility. (Was MOD Reward Claim bonus I believe)
▪ Fey Wolf under Masters of the Hunt (Was likely 3rd Gate - Sharandar : Lair reward)

On a side note I saw on Preview up till 5 day's prior to Omu launching they had Collections always showing the white highlight title in the center the screen; yet when Omu launched now the names shift right till unseen and blue highlights the completely wrong collection again? Not sure why this was change was reversed at the last minute - but the collection titles looked amazing at least 5 days prior to Omu. Then Feb 1st I noticed even Preview was broken again?

Please realize all @miasmat is stating was 'the cause' of why it may not be getting updated; he wasn't admitting or denying there weren't any specific examples -- that is specifically why he asked for them as I've done above -- so if you have others please do add them to the list.

Can confirm Amphail doesn't show up, nor does the (plain) Gorgon.
I also have an Aberrant Gorgon, which is not listed, nor are the Firesoul or Fey types.
Ice Panther isn't listed... I owned one but sold it. (Considering the cost, you might add that one.)

Thank you for fixing the many others. Spent a bit of time pulling
each one out to have it show on Collections. (Obviously a lot of
us are collectors, so it's kind of important that achievements and
items display correctly.)

EDIT: Also missing is Saratuk's Teal Dusted Axebeak. (Website giveaway.)
