    I have the same problem and reported it earlier. It's the Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate. The server(s) it is trying to reach aren't responding (failed to connect). The launcher checks for updates every time it starts, so this will probably hit everyone who restarts their game client. People who are already logged in can most likely just keep playing.

    Same problem. Been getting progressively worse the past few days. Started with just freezing up on loading screens, requiring a relog, to occasional problems with the launcher. Now tonight, full hour of constantly trying to get on only to have the launcher fail to connect.

    If u switch from zone u having troubels aswell.Game hangs after sertain time and then u can't log in anymore .

    Looks like it, but silly me, I re-installed thinking the problem might be local, so I have to wait for all the patching to download and re-install. Hoorah! Only 11GB of patches...

    I just got in. We'll see if it sticks. The reason I say that is because it hung on me yesterday, then it was fine. Earlier today it worked, then it didn't in the past few hours.

    Hey all, was having same issue as you, tried a few things with windows defender ...didnt work, then i force updated my antivirus program and bingo updater and launcher came right up... hope that helps

    yea I freaked out when i got up this afternoon after running game until 5:30am... and failed to launch the whole day :P I went HAMSTER with all my files and settings trying to figure out if it was my pc...I must've uninstalled/installed both Arc client and NW (actually saved a backup on external HD) a half dozen times, before actually checking the forums to see if there was a problem with the server :disappointed: it JUST started patching again (which it failed to do all day)...
