Change in Refining recipes for weapon/armor enchants?

Maybe I missed the note when this change was made - but when I went to upgrade a Greater to Perfect enchant this morning, I found the recipe now calls for 15 - yes, FIFTEEN, GMoPs.

Was this an unannounced change in M13, or has it been like this for awhile?

    It is not new. The change was done in mod 12b. The following is copied from an old thread in preview.

    I particularly like the 10x Ultimate Potency. About a million ad for just one standard ingredient. That doesn't include the coal ward or the UES's.

    Like someone said, has been like that since M12b. I didn't notice and nearly had a heart attack when I upgraded a Pure PF enchant to Trans - 15 GMOPs, 6x GESs and a Coal Ward. I felt like I had been abused.

    It used to take a 2nd enchantment to rank from 7-10 though which tended to be even more expensive depending on which enchantment you are upgrading.

    Before mod 12b, moving from rank 10 to rank 12 was better than mod 12b. That was why I told everyone they should upgrade rank 10, 11 to 12 before mod 12b came. For below rank 10, they should wait for mod 12b.

    I find it funny that the component needed to upgrade from 11 to 12 for a classic enchantment cost twice as much as 12 to 13
