House of the Crocodile Quest

I've just unlocked this quest and completed it (3 times now). The quest updates whilst inside the dungeon but as soon as I leave (with the quest objective set as "Return to Celeste") the quest just resets back to "Explore the House of the Crocodile" and doesn't complete.

It doesn't appear to ever update in my journal even though it does on the right hand side of the screen during the quest.

I have noticed some issues with this one as well. There is a first time quest and a weekly quest and it seems if you have a party with both types of quests active, only one of the types of quests counts at the end. There are two things I noticed when there is a group with mixed quests, at the entrance the objective will be listed twice and then at the room to the boss, there is one version (the first time quest) that will require you to gather the party, and the weekly lets each person go in on their own.

Try to get in there without people that are doing the weekly, maybe that will help...good luck.

Tried it by myself but not quite good enough to finish the boss on my own just yet so guess I'll have to wait until I improve a bit. Also tried it in a group when I was the host but this didn't work either... it appears as though it defaults to the weekly quest if anyone in the group has that and therefore doesn't complete the first time quest. Rather annoying.
