Refining Enchantments

I made another two characters and had difficulty passing this quest on my first I got past the refining quartz after a long time. Now this toon I have refined enough to get 1000 refining points from quartz alone and still cannot pass this part. I went to quest giving and talked with him using all the prompts available and this is pissing me off.

Ok when you open your inventory hit large black button and select inventory options then convert rp. Yes I know I answered my own question
