Cleanse is needed for Tong 1/3 (Heroic feat)

DO Dc's the at will astral seal with cleanse is needed for the last two bosses. If not the DoT will kill your party and It is much easier and faster for DO to apply it, all you need is one application of brand of the sun and can then use astral seal for faster divinity.

I always have cleanse on both of my builds. It is a must have for me as a DC. I also always have Astral Seal on both builds. That is just how I play. But thanks for the notes on that.

It´s a simply "must have" since ever imo and I hate running my GF beside a DC at let´s say Hati and that DC can´t cleanse that Dot.

I guess it is depending build and party, but high crit righteous build doesn't need this feat to me.
Good to have, but not a "must have" feat - Build is giving a lot of HOT.

Must have 1/3 points , allways , otherwise you play an annoying DC in almost every t 3 or 2.5

    This is your opinon...

I have removed this feat 'cause for my DO i dont need it for my groups. my Hots do the work very well.
And if i feel the need in the new mod to use it, i will re-feat it.
    Still using it as AC.

Every competetiv DC runs a rightous path. SO you run a virtous-DO using healing spells? An "unwanted setup", wich outheals that DOT damage instead of simply cleaning that DOT, near all classes die from running Hati. Annyoing as said.

Go human and use one of the extra heroic points. Problem solved. Also going 5/5 for the heroic feat that increases your crit based on power for a DC is not worth the forgoing cleanse.

With 5/5 into Initiate of Faith with 40K power provides 400 critical strike or a 1% increase to your critical chance. Going with 4/5 into Initiate of Faith provides 320 increase and the other point can be used into Cleanse. That 1 point in cleanse is better spent than adding it to Initiate of Faith.

I only have 5/5 because I play as a human and I have one point into cleanse on my DO build. If I played another race, I would modify my build to ensure I get the feats needed as a DC, regardless of my build.

Cleanse is just great in general. 1 point is all you need, but it's one of the better feats available. It's useful in a variety of content, and has utility even in high level parties. I also run it on all of my builds.

The only downside is that it can upset some classes purposely using survivor's wraps to trigger self-applied DoTs for their buffing feats, but that's a tradeoff that in my opinion is still worth it for the party in general. Besides, unless you're Virt, you can usually roughly control who you're healing so you arrive at least at a somewhat workable arrangement.

I have cleanse on all of my "group" loadouts - however, I skipped it on my "solo" loadout, as I haven't really run into a situation that requires it.
    Hoping for improvements...
