[PC] Launcher is reinstalling after crash - third time today

I got a black screen and then crash trying to start the game after reinstalling earlier today to start playing again. When I re-opened the launcher, it "patched" to the tune of about 10gb. Played for a bit and then had to log out. Logged back in, crashed again trying to load the game. Open the launcher, there goes another 10gb patching process. I purchased Zen this afternoon to get a couple of months of VIP, but if I have to reinstall every time I want to play that's not going to work for me. Anyone had/resolved similar issues?

Are you running from Arc or directly from the Neverwinter.exe launcher?
