Leadership and rough Astral Diamonds

Just came back after a few years :) not much changed - but:
Why the hell were rough astral diamonds removed from the leadership profession??!
Protect Diamond Shipment and one other task would give you 1'200 or 1'600 rAD...
Totally unbelievable...

    When was the last time you played? There have been an enormous number of changes since the leadership nerf. AD had been removed some time before my own return in Aug of '16.

    If that is the only change you noticed, you will find way more change than that.

    Last time I played was December 2013 I think. Still level 60 and placed at Sharandar :)

    To answer the question, players were forming leadership armies to run that 1,200 - 1,600 RAD leadership task on up to 50 toons. They were earning , I heard, 1 million AD per day not playing the game, but through the proffessions.

    Note that leadership is still profitable and/or helpful for your character development (tasks that yield RP).

    Also, other proffesions can be profitable. The weaponsmithing, artificing & platesmithing can create weapons. Leathersmithing, tailoring, platesmithing, and mailsmithing can create armor. With purple gear to increase the chance of success, you can start making stuff to sell @ anout lvl 20. Also, since you are level 60, you can farm items in the elemental evil zone to use the Alchemy profession to craft unified elements.

    Many changes and you need to look for them for detail.

    These are stuff the comes to my mind:

    1. VIP
    2. bonding runestone
    3. Stronghold
    4. Guild boon
    5. Alliance
    6. Artifact weapon/Artifact Equipment
    7. mount stable
    8. mount insignia
    9. mount power, mount combat power
    10. loadout
    11. level 70
    12. rank 4 powers
    13. Refinement point
    14. various dungeon keys and key tab in inventory
    15. .......

    Hunter Rangers, Paragon Paths, Artifacts, Active pet bonuses and Account bank slots are changes from mod 2. Scourge Warlock and Dragonborn race in mod 4. Oathbound Paladin in mod 6.

    Otherwise Plasticbat's list seems fairly comprehensive.

    Don't forget rank 14 enchantments lol The marks that are needed to make them are gated behind RNG of course! You must run the end game dungeon Tomb of the nine gods, or be lucky and pull one from a lockbox
