Tomb of the Nine Gods Black Screen after falling off platform

My group had just defeated to9g boss when we had to run to other side of platform. My teammate was on ground dying and I tried reviving him. During the revival, the platform shifted and my character slid off the platform. When my character landed/respawned, he and his companion's profiles were barely visible since they were in some sort of pitch black environment. My character could not see anything due to the pitch black environment and he wasn't able to move. I was able to drop a signpost to teleport out but my character could not reach the two chests on the platform.
