ignore function not working?

1) Ignore a player in game with the report tool.
2) Block the player on Xbox.

Observed Result:
After I ignore a player in game and block them on Xbox, I can still read all their in game chats (in all channels where they chat).

Expected Result:
After I ignore a player in game and block them on Xbox, I expected to not read their chats in game again, as it used to work well some years ago, but not anymore it seems.

Having the same issue. Been trying to block all the 3rd party site spammers in PE. Plz address this

You can't block ALL 3rd party spammers. You have to block each one individually.

There's a delay of something like 10 minutes between when you change your Xbox ignore list and when our game gets an update. We also don't purge previously sent messages from ignored people to make it a little easier to unignore them. I hope either of these hints explain what you're seeing.

I was under the impression that logging out and back in sped up the process?

It's possible relogging does force an update, but I don't have the code in front of me now to verify. There are a bunch of caches between Microsoft and your client where we store the friend/ignore lists, and I'm pretty sure they end up being up to 10 minutes stale.
