Ring of the hunter +4 not adding Item level points completely

I have a OP named BIGPR while in chult a treasure map netted me a +4 ring of the hunter. So I go to replace one of the +3 rings of the hunter with the +4 ring of the hunter. Before I made the change I took a picture of my toon with the +3 ring my gear score is 15816. I swap out the +3 with the +4 and include the stones that were in the +3, now my gear score is 18821. Now the +3 ring is a 440 il and the +4 is a 480 item level my il/gear score should be 15856. Some how I am being shorted 35 il points. Can you please help

May we kindly ask you to un-equip and re-equip all your items first? Please also try summoning your companions afterwards to see if this would fix the issue with the item level.

I have done as you asked. I removed all my items to include my artifacts and dismissed my companion. I added all my gear first, next I added my artifacts and finally summoned my companion. IL remains at 15821.

Do you have a Jewel Kit on the other ring by chance? I believe that is exactly 35 IL...just a thought.

That's a good point, I do have a a jewel set on the +3 but the il on the +3 is 440 and the il on a +4 is 480. That's a difference of 40 points add the jewel set now we are talking 75 points.

Is their anyway to remove the jewel set from the +3?

Sadly, no.

once you apply a kit to that +3 ring, the kit is permanently stuck to that +3 ring.

Best you can do is buy/make an additional kit.

Just got a ring of the undead +4 added that to my character only given 5 points instead of 40. The +4 rings have an issue. Please fix.

Jewel kit. If your original ring was 440 with a jewel kit which is 35 then that means your original ring was giving you 475 IL. If you then swapped for a 480 ring then yes..you will only get 5 additional IL until you add a new jewel kit

@drsmilingdog I have added the kits to both my +4 and am still only getting 5 il increase instead of 40.

Finally my points show up. I don't know what they did but just noticed my IL up. Thanks to all who commented and suggested solutions.
