Stronghold Royalty Bonus

Hello,
Im a bit bored so I spent some time thinking about Strongholds.
My suggestion is to create a new way how players would contribute to their Stronghold resources by introducing Royalty Bonus system.
The main reason for the implementation of this system would be that a lot of Strongholds are usually taken care of by a few people who donate the most.
What I suggest here is to speed up this process by involving more guild members...

How it works:

This system allows the players who contributed to their Stronghold resources earn some of the resources BACK in a form of items that are useful for them (lets say Blood Ruby, Experience Booster, Preservation Wards).

The rewards would be in style of the CAMPAIGN like for example PVP campaign where you have to finish some tasks that would be dependent on current Stronghold/Alliance level or tasks.

What ROYALTY bonus means is that EVERY player who contributed somehow to their Stronghold development would earn a % percentage of the Royalty system campaign currency back that would be used to progress in Stronghold Campaign to earn the rewards.

The person who contributes most will progress faster... (items from the Stronghold Campaign would be simply cosmetic... no huge advantage other than lets say Stronghold Architect costume or Royalty title that would be awarded, I dont want to raise complaints about people donating most having too much advantage, after all its anyways ALWAYS good for your Stronghold to get more resources/unlock more tasks/merchants/boons that EVERYONE will benefit from sooner or later!)

The aim of this suggestion is to simply support all players to reach their guild goal faster while getting something back (other than excellent guild boons and other bonuses like merchants of course).

Guys, PLEASE tell me what you think about it... maybe I watched Shark Tank too much LOL.

considering how much of the game is already build inside the wrapper of a guild . . .

    adding a campaign to guilds . . .

    is a marvelous idea

this is a nice idea, but will it not hurt those already in a guild that is maxed at 20. I am in a small guild so to me this will be very nice but if there is nothing to donate too it will not be fair to punish them
There are more than BIS players in this game
RIP Real Tiamat, RIP Real Demogorgon RIP real Temple of the spider. Why remove non bis content to give to bis players ????
FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base
Changes are getting so bad i would rather prefer no new changes (RIP ICE FISHING in winter fest)

The rich get richer. Nah. The idea is nice. The rewards should be superficial.

You're write-up was a little confusing. On the one hand you wrote:

This system allows the players who contributed to their Stronghold resources earn some of the resources BACK in a form of items that are useful for them (lets say Blood Ruby, Experience Booster, Preservation Wards).

    Then you say:

The person who contributes most will progress faster... (items from the Stronghold Campaign would be simply cosmetic... no huge advantage other than lets say Stronghold Architect costume or Royalty title that would be awarded, I dont want to raise complaints about people donating most having too much advantage

Also, what would happen if you switch guilds? Is this royalty system tied to the guild you were in? I assume so since you might go to another guild and never donate a thing there making the title/outfit completely irrelevant and misleading imo.

A while ago I had an idea about where Guilds could go as a game concept, and thought that following Alliances, there might be a way to develope, "Factions"

There are plenty of existing factions within the Forgotten Realms canon/mythology (whatever...) such as The Harpers, The Zentarim, Lords Alliance, even The Crown.

If guilds and alliance could offer support to one of these Factions and have new and existing contribution comodities to offer into a Tiamat style weekly reward sytem. There could be all manner of special events, skirmishes, CTAs etc tied in with this. It could include new stronghold events that could act in part as an apology for the Marauders, but with a similar style. Assaults on enemy or rival faction depots, espionage missions for stealth dudes, kidnap/rescue depending on whether you are Zhent or Harper... that sort of thing.

Guilds and alliances would recieve weekly rewards based on their own input and overall factional success, while individuals who complete faction based quests would gain minor rewards that could be increased by multipliers baed on the success of their faction missions.

I know, I know, I know... there are all sorts of bad things in that, but I haven't even thought about what rewards and contributions would be, just an idea in principle to make guild/alliance more viable going forward than just Boons and Dungeons.
The more guild/alliance-based actual getting down and dirty with monsters, the more fun guilds and alliance will be.
And it wouldn't be a mandatory thing, there should be nothing so special gained from it that it becomes necessary, (4 x L10 Boons for 2K IL to quickly get into Random Epic Queues... I'm looking at you!)

I would also like to see a new rank of Binding to items.
Now before everyone goes thermo over how bad it is already... this would only apply to certain special items and would cost guild masters to apply.

    "Bound To Guild"
So special items, mounts, even companions, could be given to people but should they leave the guild the item becomes unusable. Hell, it may even reappear in the guild vault!

Throw into this mix guild dye packs (mix a three colour special dye for Zen that can become the guilds own colour scheme, and sell it to players for Guild Marks) Bespoke banners (careful attention would need to be paid to submitted artwork...) and there are all sorts of ways Guilds could be made even more fun.

    P.S
None of these ideas have been factored and even remotely worked out numerically, they are just some ideas that I think would add some spice to the lives of people who like to focus on the Guild aspect of the game.
