What are some private channels useful for new players, solo-minded players, and/or players wishing to form groups for things like random queues, both normal and epic?

Always been good to me, though moderation has lacked lately, still good.

Legit channel is great, but it sees less traffic than it used to - I suspect much of the traffic is now in the Legit alliance channel.

There are also some class-specific channels, like DC_CHANNEL.

Finally, there are some "elite" channels, like Zerg_Legion, TONG_3K and so on ... which basically focus on the 14K+ crowd.

For "normal" runs or RQs, I guess guild (or better, alliance) channels are the way to go.

Then again, many people have extensive friend lists of competent people they frequently run with, and find people there, instead of through the channels.
