Feedback / Relic equipment restoration

With the lowered requirements and the NPC merchant exchanging seals for materials for the first restoration step we got a good way for alter equipment.

What I noticed is that the vivify process (second restoration step) is not alter friendly because it requires:
- 10K vooninblod.
- 1 Testimony of the correct class and equipment slot.

The 10K voninblood is fine so we have to farm it for a while.

The problem arises because the testimony is class specific, so we can't use all those ostorian tale carvings we have in our main's bag.

Please, for making the vivify process alter friendly too, consider either:
- Making the testimony requirement classless, so we have some use all those ostorian tale carvings that we have in our main's bag.
- Make the ostorian tale carvings bound to account so we can pass them to the alters.

Thanks in advance.

In addition to the restoration changes, the path progression in the SKT campaign has been reduced/streamlined. I have not finished farming my relic gears yet, so I don't know exactly how long it will take, but I do know it is much easier than it used to be. Also, I am personally ok with having the armor upgrade a little more grindy.

You know you can use AD and buy the Chult 430 gear and that does not require any restoring to keep the stats up. The chult 430 gear is the same IL as the company gear from the Stronghold. It looks like the new beginning IL gear for 70 character are now IL 430.

Vivified relic gear is IL 480. Primal gear (best of the best?) is 500). Titansteel (if you prefer spending over grinding) is ILvl 480 as well. So is hunt gear (another one to grind for).

Relic gear has to be feed to maintain its maximum stats. If you do not feed relic gear it is inferior to other gear as you pointed out.

Fully Restored Relic Gear has 480 and eventually it drops to 465. That gear is inferior to the Mastercraft II gear that can be made or bought.

The relic gear with level 1 restoration after a few hours of play is inferior to the 430 League / Company gear you can get. Both of those take less grind and can provide consistent stats without the need to feed the gear to maintain maximum stats.

Also, depending upon your build and stat needs, Primal may not be the BiS, though it is for most classes.

Mastercraft gear costs several million AD to equip. It does not have everfrost protection or bonus damage in SKT. It only takes half an hour a week to maintain Vivified relic gear--less if you are an FBI junkie. Both have good stats that may be as good or better than Primal for various builds.
