Give all outdated gears a tier system where you can improve its tier up to one level below BiS sets with campaign resources and tokens gained in the dungeon relative to the module set or the dungeon where you dropped it, last tier adding a special set bonus for those who don't have it.
This would be :
- beginner friendly, as it would not force new people to wait for a dungeon they most likely cannot do and stick with their gear, improve it until they can be strong enough to farm better gear
- add more diversity to the game, as the stats from all sets are not the same, adding more choices from both stats and potential bonuses at last tiers
- making dungeons interesting again as some of them are completely abandoned because they don't offer anything
- making modules relevant again, not all, but if I want to improve a certain set, I'd have to do quests from this module
This includes reviewing set systems, such as 4 items sets (head, armor, arm, boots) to 6 items sets (head, armor, arm, boots, mainhand, offhand) but even 3 items sets (rings, necklace) and 2 items sets (shirts, pants).
Example :
- Elemental Raid Alliance set, 396 ilvl items, current BiS set is ilvl 500, you can then improve it several tiers up to an ilvl 480 and gain a special set bonus
- Hammerstone armor set, ilvl 252, lvl 60, 6 set items (with Mainhand/Offhand), having several tiers up to one level below BiS and a special 6 set bonus.
This is just a recycling idea, since Cryptic is a master at recycling things, you can discuss of your ways of making the game better,
