Do Huntsman Armor Ring Equip Bonuses work on Companions ?

To be a bit more specific. The Huntsman Restoration Ring:

Has the equip 'bonus' :

Equip: When in combat with only one enemy, your Recovery increased by 1000.

If you give one to your summoned companion, does that bonus transfer to you through Companion's Gift or any of the other stat transfer features between companions and players ? I am guessing it doesn't in the same way that the Rising and Sudden Ring bonuses do not transfer but thought it would be nice to get confirmation

I would agree with your thinking that the bonus does not work with companions. They made an issue out of fixing the sudden ring bonuses so to allow other ring bonuses to work would be an oversight. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time something that shouldn't work, does in fact work.

But if it does proc through Comps Gift, you can expect it to get fixed in about 6 months to a year, giving most of the player base time to change builds around those rings.
