is anyone else having an issue logging in?

i get in to the character select screen and everytime i select a character it starts loading and backs out and say login server disconnected. it happened after i was disconnected (possibly from being idle but i dont think it was long enough) i have tried multiple characters and have rebooted the application with no change.

    I get disconnected when switching thru chars. Every 2nd char leads to a disconnect with 1-2 mins waiting time. Might be the pre-patch that too many connections are open on the server (just an idea).

    well im glad you're able to get online i have tried over 30+ times since 8.30a (ct) and haven't got in once.

    i didn't know about any patches today, i hope thats all the problem is.

    I'm having problems too! I get enter my password, but then it hangs on "patching".

    isnt it great, this forum is the heart of the game, and yet messages here seem to vary, not all of us use twitter, and facebook ...
    anyway the red button shows on the launcher so I know the game is down, I assume there is no indication of a possible uptime yet ...
