King of Spines drops

I just did King of Spines the T3 Hunt. I got twice [Hunter's Keffiyeh] helmet, which is basicly a useless helmet and a +4 ring. That's probably the most frustrating thing that can happen after weeks of farming and spending AD on that HAMSTER. That hunt goes for more than 2mil on the market and there's a reason for it. I know a guildie who got both Rex peices at his first try. Of course most of the people are getting one. But I never heard of someone getting the same item twice, and the bad helmet nonetheless...

Did it ever happen to any of you ?
You think it could be a bug ? would you open a ticket ?
I'm just so demoralized by my bad RNG...

It just happened to be the result of RNG.

1st KoS Hunt: Chestpiece, Headpiece, misc.
2nd KoS Hunt: Headpiece (same as 1st), Headpiece (same as 1st), misc.

The reason it is priced that high is because players for some reason(s) pay it, that's like spending 2kk on a key LoL

Repeats of drops on repeat hunts happens very often, that's why doing them with others often benefits more people because either someone is getting salvage or an upgrade and can often reduce the "cost" of the lure(s) per person.

If three people contribute a piece to the KoS lure the "cost" then becomes 1/3 instead of it being 3/3 for one person and that one person still more than likely needing others to help down KoS anyway...

In the 1/3 situation even if there are repeat drops players are still in a better position than if one person provided the lure and repeats dropped.

If your RNG was good enough to get the lure at all then count yourself lucky

We have 8 people farming, one has farmed for between 8-16 hours PER DAY for the last two weeks. Others farm while they are on.

We have yet to have the last bit drop to make even our first KoS lure. And with 8 people working on it, plus alts, clearly we are going to need more than one. At this drop rate though, I don't expect we will continue to try for much longer.

I'm not running chult. I'm not strong enuff yet. BUT, if I was... I would never run a hunt the same day I dropped a lure. Tempting way 2 much fate, man!
