Why doesn't Gauntlgrym merchant recognise destroy the Maze Engine completion?

I purchased the Maze Engine campaign completion buyout from the Zen market and received the completion in my campaigns. However, the Gauntlgrym merchant does not recognise that I have completed the Destroy the Maze Engine task. Cannot purchase the Dread Legion chest. Can this be fixed?
