Quick Power Question for a SS CW (With Possible Follow Ups)

Currently I have a 31,777 power WITHOUT my Companion summoned.

My question is.... what is a good base power for a DPS CW with just equipment mounts and Reinforced power armor?

Reason I ask, is I see some vids with folks with resting power close to 40k and i am trying to figure out how they are doing it with the new ToNG 85ish % AP needed now.

Just curious is all.

    My logic has been get critical chance first to 100% and than work on power. I focus on getting as much critical strike chance from gear and enchantments on my character and than use my companion to fill in the critical chance I am missing and power.

    As for you having 40K power my guess would be this...

    Guild boon - 8K
    Legendary Mount - 4K
    Gear - (depends on what you have equipped) 4K+
    Artifacts: 4K (depending upon artifact)
    Legendary Artifact Gear: 10k+
    Enchantments R12: 3K+ (depending upon enchantment)
    Mount Insignia: 200-3K
    Mount Insignia Bonus: 100-1K (could be more)
    Legendary companion: 15% of companion Power stat

    For most end game cws, crit and/or arp are capped through bondings and power is maxed after. 30K+ resting power is a good place to be.

    Group content is where you want to optimize your stats. With power sharing in groups giving so much power, the relative increase in your dps from power is less, thus I choose Snail's AP bonus over power for mount bonus as an example.

    (by the way thread OP, you sound fine. Remember that you there are some people which love to stack their epeen bar with all the potions, so it might add a bit higher extra Power...)

    Or they were standing close enough to a DC or OP and got some power sharing out of that.
