Update pricing on out of date items.

So, after getting a few new members in my guild (new players to the game) to try out VIP, the first thing they asked were, "What are these tarmalune bars for?" At which point I showed them how to get to the market and spend them. The next comment was, well I can't afford X piece of gear. After which point, I decided to look at the out of date gear, alliance assault and such.
It shocked me to see that alliance costs the same as modern gear. I would think there would be some variance in bar pricing to make shopping for older items realistic. I obviously don't think it should be so cheap that it becomes the new salvage method for tar bars, but the alliance assault bp at 80 bars is a bit ridiculous.
We then started looking at other things, such as the zen store, and came to the conclusion, there are MANY MANY items that are completely out of date on pricing, whether its zen or tar bars. Does anyone at cryptic even bi-annually look at these items? and with many just being introduced to the tar bar store, (such as alliance gear), why were they added at such an extreme price?
Also, some items don't even make the slightest since to have on the tar bar store, such as the wands used for the heroic's to gain elemental weapons. Why aren't items like these put down to the gold market? Anyway, just my random thought/improvement idea for new players for the day.
