Rain of Arrows (or any attack with an area-of-effect) broken

Hi all,

I've been trying to use my Rain of Arrows skill on my Hunter Ranger for months now, and I can't get it to show the circle on the ground where I want to attack. The only way I can kind of get it to show up, is when I'm in the "alt" mode, for selecting menus and dialog boxes (I can see the area of attack on the ground, but can't use the skill, obviously).

I actually left the game for several months due to this bug, and I'm likely not to return until I can find a cause for this issue.

I'm not sure if I have a broken weapon equipped, or an off-hand that's messing with my area skills, but I'd sure like to know if there are items in the game that affect encounter skills.

I can provide more information as requested.

(I also now have an issue with zooming in and out on my character in game, but I'll try to figure that one out first)

This bug has existed for way too long. The workaround is to go into your settings, and reset to defaults. You will need to reconfigure everything, but it will fix the issue.

I just had that problem and after a lot of testing found that if I went into the advanced settings and choose software cursor it fixed the problem (later you can reset it back to hardware if you like and the fix stays).
