Companions and item level

Today I cracked a bunch of comp boxes I was holding and got enough upgrade tokens to rank up 3 comps from purple to legendary....after ranking them up my item level stayed the same...it should have gone up 300....is there a bug?

Did you try logging out and back in?

Yeah I've logged out 10 times by now and nothing

As far as I know only the currently summoned companion affects Item Level. It's possible that having at least one Active, unsummoned Legendary companion might affect IL due to the Legendary Bonus but I'm not positive about that.

I've not actually checked that, I just assumed they added - maybe I'll go check too

They do add to IL, I made idle one of my actives - not the summoned one - and my IL dropped.

I would suggest making all of them idle then active again, that may jog it along.

There is/was a change where you can gain additional ilvl for up to 5 active legendary companions. Unfortunately, I do not recall if that went live with 11b or goes live with mod 12.

I tested it too and you're right. I went to a remote location, made idle an Epic, unsummoned companion (no equipment) and my IL dropped by exactly 100; I did the same with a Legendary (no equipment either) and it dropped exactly 200.

Yeah I summoned/dismissed, made all idle, nothing worked....I submitted a ticket....hopefully the fix it for me

Support responded, apparently its a bug...hopefully it gets resolved soon
