leveling items provided by Eternal Equipment chest not matching class GWF

With the GWF char "HAMSTER" I received for 2nd time in a row a shield for the Guardian Fighter class from the Eternal Equipment chest from the Adventurer Seal Trader in Protector's Enclave, even though it says "for your class".
A friend of mine playing a GWF, too, reported that he had the very same problem even in higher levels. Somehow it got fixed there by a support ticket... but why not for every GWF char in the game?
Why does it need a fix for each GWF char separately?
And please, can you fix mine so it doesn't happen again?
