i am starting to wonder with every launch of another mod unstoppable is losing its ability against regular mobs, i understand with "bosses" in dungeons it shouldnt be overpowered, but snow adding regular mobs to break cc immunity isnt an idea of making content harder, if that be the case remove all cc immunity from ability against all normal mobs. for this is starting to make no sense.

This affects more than GWF btw, it affects any CC immunity. I haven't tested TR's ITC or Oghma's arti, but no other mechanics that broke you out of traditional CC are working against the fear, stun, and charm effects.
To be honest I would like to see CC make more of a return to the game (both CC against mobs and CC against players) since now so many mob mechanics are just ignored by many classes. (GWF in particular gets CC immunity just by using the normal dps mechanics / rotation, whereas other classes have to give up something or time their blocks).
Not saying that what's currently happening is the way I'd go about it (and CC against mobs continues to get reduced and devalued with each new mod). But in a certain sense I'm glad that there is movement to return us to mechanics that cannot just be bulldozed through.
Maybe I'm alone in my thinking, but I like that there is now a danger in overextending and over-aggroing on my GWF in Chult. When fighting danger lizards, I have to pay attention to not get stunlocked, which is more brain power than was required in any previous campaign zone hah.
This is GWF we're talking about, which is synonymous with "angrily mashing keyboard like angry chimp".
To actually stop mashing buttons is heresy on GWF!
:P
(real talk: re-clicking / organized button mashing can trim the end off of some animations, increasing your attack rate)
