Master Trowel Probabilities

While considering the purchase price of the master trowel some time ago, I was unable to find probabilities for the relics. Since I obtained the trowel, I measured a few drops and thought I'd share my data:

If I were to guess whole number probabilities likely coded, it'd be 60%, 25%, 10%, 5%, but the sample size is fairly small (77).

This is, of course, assuming i.i.d. Bernoulli distribution (i.e., constant drop probabilities). Maybe not so helpful anymore, but I thought I'd share.

Still the fastest way to farm blod. A couple of laps on a fast mount and you're good.

I got one in a lockbox. I ended up keeping it. Id say, I was a little disappointed at first, but in the end it helps. I would hit lonelywood heroics, and on the way to each one I would scour for relics. It seemed to find an epic an hour or two, less common relics, but immediately after finding an epic I would get around 8 to 10 commons. All in all, very very useful for the voninblood.

Treasure maps drop a lot more relics as well as refinement and other supplies that can be sold. Not as profitable as it once was but it seems faster to me. Granted you have to buy the maps.

I double up - I use the epic pick on my way to the map locations.

I dunno, but yesterday, for the last boon, I farmed 20k blod in an hour or two in cold run.

It is so random. I farmed relics in CR, LW and BS as I did the daily on my HR (also finishing last boon) and used an excavator pot (1 hour), not stopping until it ran out. Obviously, my efficiency was down because of moving and quests, but I only pulled 2 epics and those were back to back. Mostly they were all white and green.

20k in an hour? I dont see how that's possible. Running heroics and finding relics, scrapping up 8k in a couple hours seemed to be a feat....

Not hard. Boring, but not hard. Green trowel + potion + frostborn gauntlet, ran circles around multiple instances of Bryn Shander until the potion ran out; 22k voninblod. Of course, thats an hour spent JUST farming relics, not grabbing them while doing other things. Not sure the purple trowel would provide enough of a boost to justify its cost, but I'm cheap.

I ran with epic trowel + potion + frostborn gauntlett and get 40k+ in a lucky time.
With my main char + remorhaz 80k+
It´s not impossible!

Same as above... average about 35k-45k an hour circling brin shandar. Its much easier now with river district keeping everyone busy. Lets not forget you can buy vblod from the mysterious merchant as well.
