help with utility slots

Hello i just hit 14.313 as a gf and need some info on the utility slots please...
I have 3 rank 8 fey enchantments so that should be a 3% drop rate.
I also have 1 rank 12, 1 rank 10 and a rank 8 dragon hoard enchantment.

My question is do these dragon enchants stack, is there a cap or limit or cooldown?
As far as im aware i should be getting a 9% drop rate chance with those dragon enchants, is that right???

A very good question. At one point it was the accepted community opinion that there were soft caps in place however I don't know if any testing has been done recently. Does anyone have any current data on this?

Yes, there is a cap and cooldown and they will not specify what it is. They only say that it should not affect most players. However, if you play for long periods or farm, you will hit them. This is confirmed for Dragon Hoard, but I don't think it has ever been confirmed for the Fey's. I only run one Fey, 1 DH and the rest Quartermaster and rarely play long periods without stopping, so I personally have never observed it.

This is just my speculation based on observed game behavior after hundreds of hours playing, but, that said, pretty much all of the enchant-based drops and event-based drops are hard-capped. I do not know the exact schedule but a typical one looks like that:
    1) there is a cool-down between drops around 30-60 seconds.
    2) there is a max number of drops (or drop chances) "per day" - which is somewhere between 15-30 for different enchants.
    3) once the max is reached no more drops will happen for the next ~20+ hours.

Similar mechanics (but with different parameters) is present for other drops such as Evidence of Evil drops for ship HEs. I also suspect that applies to lanolin drops from minor HEs, but there it is less obvious due to the fairly small drop chance overall.

TL;DR: cooldowns are everywhere, so diversify your enchants and grind smartly (stop once you are on cooldown).

It doesn't apply to lanolin, when I used to farm the HE's I did it for hours n' made alot of lanolin throughout. :3

I'd recommend investing in Quartermasters at this point.
