SOMI fishing bug is still there

Apparently the thread was deleted when merged into the tomb of annihilation launch bugs. I still am not getting fish in SOMI when I try to 'land' them. Power meter zeros, but I don't get anything then after awhile it says fish lost. This has been an issue for awhile and is still happening often enough to induce rage quits.

    Same thing happens in Chult. After pressing 1, you get nothing, all the reeling progress resets to zero and:
    1) you have to re-reel the catch if the arrow keys are still highlighed; or
    2) arrow keys go grey, pressing Q, E, R shows no reeling progress increase and the fish "goes away" after some time.
    Moreover, the bug seems to recycle itself in Chult, once you get buggy you run a chance of all following catches to go buggy the same way too.
