For those not affiliated with the dynamics of the TR I will elaborate on the normal functionality before explaining the bug concerning the aforementioned thread title. I will refrain from going into detail for 'wall of text' reasons.
Shadow of Demise is triggered when a TR does damage to a target with an encounter power from stealth. Its pretty straighforward (well the tooltip isn't but what tooltip in this game is? ). You enter stealth, hit an enemy with an encounter power and Shadow of Demise activates. With Smoke Bomb its different, you need to use Smoke Bomb then enter stealth and Shadow of Demise will activate. Got it? Ok, cool.
The problem is, this does not occur on Tyrannosaurs, Tyrannosaurus Rex's or Allosaurs. I presume it may have something to do with the unique shield these creatures have when in their upright state (not lying on their bellies exposing their soft bits for us to poke with sharp things), a.k.a. 'toppled'.
Shadow of Demise can be activated on these foes through other means, just not with Smoke Bomb. I only bring this up because utilizing Smoke Bomb to activate Shadow of Demise on a target can be a more efficient way of utilizing the potential of our stealth and stealth-related buffs.
