So The Foundry has almost entirely been back online for a while now, save for functioning map-transitions... I was holding out hope, hard, that this new module would fix that, but it doesn't seem like it did - I still pop back to the spawn point of each map in my quest when I get to the map-transitions... is this going to be fixed, or are the devs just being a total HAMSTER-tease with bringing The Foundry back for a while?
I know I'm not the only one who has gone wild with it since it's been back online, I've chatted with plenty other players in The Foundry Zone, the user-base has to be there, even without any official announcement.... so what the heck? Are you gonna keep The Foundry or not guys? I want to know, because it's the only reason I keep around at this point.
I'd really like to play through my quest from start to finish before I hit "publish." I've poured hours into it...
"Just my thoughts I suppose."

"Make quests that hundreds of thousands of players will see! Build your resume and be featured on the Arc News!"
How damn easy does it have to be for you guys??? Free quality content from people around the world trying to show what they can do in your engine. C'mon!
We're not competition for you, I've watched the videos in the dev blogs, you're all using waaaaaay better software than you provide us with, so what the hell is the harm??? Be a champion here!
Branding, and marketing, marketing, marketing!
Fire or re-train your current marketing director, because they have no idea what a goldmine they're sitting on. NWN is used in college classes on game design - why isn't that NWO!!!??? The answer is HAMSTER marketing.
You all have a fantastic engine, a great mythology, and a legacy to build off of with it - USE IT!

It was 2012, and I was playing Guild Wars, when I came across an article about Cryptic's Foundry being beta tested on their "Star Trek" game. I am not into SciFi but I read it was actually being developed for "Neverwinter D&D". I jumped into STO with both feet and even purchased some characters just to create Foundry missions. To this day, I still have several Foundries on STO and only one here. The reason is all the bugs they never fixed, a long list published on the front page of the official wiki. I learned to deal with bugs but the Foundry down times for Neverwinter are inexcusable. Star Trek had about 30 days down time, but it was very rare. I guess what shut the Foundry down far worse than these outages, is the absence of reward. We had a Foundry hour that gave players bonus XP. We had AD for running Foundries that "qualified" but that term no longer applies to anything at all. Meanwhile on STO, these rewards still exist. They still get paid to run my missions. I got over 900 in tips on just one Star Trek mission. I don't need tips but all authors need respect and Neverwinter is not giving us the simple respect we deserve.
Many great Foundry authors left the game when they gutted the rewards. More left as a result of the recent 6 month outage and no repairs. Honestly some of us didn't expect it to return at all. But sadly Shawn, the developers say one thing and do another. My hope was for a developer to grow a spine and stand up to the executives. I don't see it happening and I don't plan to continue my work here until as you stated above; "Are you gonna keep The Foundry or not guys?". At this point, I am keeping my missions on STO updated but won't lift a finger here until we know the answer.
